I don't feel much like bloggin anymore. Sorrys.
My faith in humanity's intelligence and overall decency is plummeting everyday.
That's Niles for ya.

Recant
I'm glad to take back what I said about St Matthew's in Niles. They had a Jesus Cares service tonight and planned for another one in the future.

Jesus has Left Niles
Please note: names were not changed to judge the guilty.
Here I was thinking the WELS had finally recanted their ways. Finally they had decided to allow people with developmental disabilities into their churches with open arms just like Jesus the Good Shepherd would.
Too bad not enough people showed.
Maybe they didn't collect enough money from that service (too bad the visiting pastor didn't take collections to begin with.)
It doesn't really matter they only advertised the service for three some days. Despite the fact CiCi's of Niles kindly did allow us to post a flier (Give them lots of business). It doesn't matter that they only had a single, trial service.
There is no need for there to be a service unless three people show up. A random number decided arbitrarily by Pastor Nathan Cordez. (I assume they mean those with developmental disabilities. I counted at least 14 people that showed up. Guess they can go to the important people's service.) I suppose my dear brother doesn't even count towards that requirement since he's not a member there and since he's been kicked out of the normal service by Pastor Schaumberg many years ago. I guess he's not a member at Jerusalem either since the (former?) president Jeff Hawk didn't know we were still technically members. How nice it was they spent twenty thousand dollars on a new sound system and didn't bother to put one single speaker in the bathroom, despite being promised so by one Drew Hutchinson.
If there's no service to invite them to, who's gonna come in off the street and inquire of such a service? Will they suddenly make reservations for a service that's not advertised and won't be able to show up for? It's a huge set up to fail to shut up my father from complaining. That won't happen.
May Jesus in his infinite grace, mercy, and wisdom somehow still lead the precious souls to your loving arms. The WELS can enjoy the financial woes with no tears shed by me.
